Contribute

Here are your options to contribute to IIOP.NET:

  • Use IIOP.NET and report your experience through the forum.
You may report problems through the Bug tracker or through the forum. You may also post feature requests in the feature request tracker or through the forum. The future development of IIOP.NET is very much influenced by your suggestions.
  • Implement missing features / improve IIOP.NET
Please use the patch tracker to post your work. We will try to integrate the patch as soon as possible. If you consider the following points, the integration of the patch is much easier:
    • We normally write tests to make IIOP.NET robust. Therefore, we very much appreciate any tests you provide.
    • Your patches should not break any existing tests. If one of the tests is wrong, you may also fix the test.
    • Your patches should follow the coding guidelines
  • Write documentation / tutorials
To help others with using IIOP.NET you may write some tutorials / articles on IIOP.NET. You may post them e.g. on sites like thecodeproject. If you post the link in this forum, we will also link it from the documentation page.
  • Publish success stories
Success stories are a motivation factor for all contributors.
Contributions to IIOP.NET are very welcome. We maintain a list of IIOP.NET contributors. Thank you for your contributions.
